What is PRP?

PRP (platelet-rich plasma), also known as the Vampire Facial is a form of regenerative medicine that can harness those abilities and amplify the natural growth factors your body uses to heal tissue. This treatment uses your own blood in order to stimulate as well as accelerate the natural production of collagen and elastin.

How Does it Work?

PRP is an injectable treatment that uses the individuals own platelet rich plasma. The plasma component contains stem cells and growth rich platelets. When injected back into the skin, it accelerates the body's natural production of collagen and elastin to provide overall skin rejuvenation.

It's very similar to taking blood work. Our nurse will draw small amounts of blood from your arm and then placed in the centrifuge. The centrifuge is a device that spins at high speeds that will physically separate the solid and liquid parts of the blood. Then PRP will be injected into the desired area. Depending on the area you are having treated, it could take up to approximately one hour.
