BOTOX
What is Botox?
BOTOX® is a therapeutic agent derived botulinum toxin type A and is known to temporarily stop muscle movement in a targeted area. Botox injections are known for their ability to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Botox relaxes the muscles responsible for frown lines and crow's feet. The appearance of creases and wrinkles that form over time as a result of ageing can be drastically improved by injection.
This treatment is considered safe and effective when treated by an experienced regulated health care professional, such as our medical nurse injector.
How does it work?
BOTOX® Cosmetic targets one of the underlying causes of frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines — the repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, smiling and raising the eyebrows over the years. Our Medical Nurse Injector will inject these muscles with BOTOX® to temporarily reduce muscle activity. You will begin to notice a visible smoothing of the frown lines between your brows, your crow’s feet lines and forehead lines.
How Long Does Botox Last?
BOTOX® can last anywhere from three to four months. Results start to wear off gradually and it's recommended to repeat your treatments every three months and before full movement has returned to your facial muscles.
