Your visit
Before, during & after.
- 7 days before Stay out of the sun & skip tanning, self-tan included.
- 5 days before Pause retinoids, tretinoin, AHAs & BHAs.
- 48 hours before No waxing, threading or other facial hair removal.
- On the day Come with clean skin & as little makeup as you can.
- When you arrive Tell your esthetician what's changed since last time & what you'd like to work on.
- How long 75 minutes for the Deluxe, 90 for the Platinum.
- What you'll feel Cool suction & a light tingle during the peel & extractions. Both are normal.
- Any time If something doesn't feel right, say so & we'll adjust.
- First hour or two Skin may look flushed or feel warm. It settles on its own.
- Rest of the day Skip makeup where you can.
- 24 hours No saunas, steam rooms, hot yoga or hard workouts.
- 48 hours Pause retinoids, acids & vitamin C.
- Every morning Mineral SPF 50+, reapplied through the day. Freshly exfoliated skin burns more easily.
- Between visits Keep skin hydrated with a gentle moisturizer.

Deluxe or Platinum?
These are our own tiers. The Deluxe is the core HydraFacial with LED; the Platinum adds lymphatic drainage, a skin booster & 15 more minutes.
Does it hurt?
No. You'll feel cool suction & a light tingle during the peel & extractions, & that's about it.
Is it okay for sensitive skin?
Usually, yes. Your esthetician sets the peel to what your skin can take, so it doesn't strip your barrier. Retinoids & acids used too close to your visit can, so pause them 5 days before & 48 hours after. If your skin is very reactive or prone to rosacea, tell us when you book.
Is there anyone it's not for?
Hold off if you have a sunburn, a rash or rosacea flare, or a cold sore, or you've taken Accutane in the last 6 months. Tell us about any allergies, especially aspirin or shellfish, & talk to us first if you're pregnant or nursing.
Can I book it before an event?
Yes. Most people leave looking fresh, & any flush fades in an hour or two. For a wedding or a shoot, book it 3 to 5 days before so your skin has time to settle.
Will I break out after?
You might get a few small spots in the first couple of days, mostly if your skin was congested going in. They should settle on their own. If you get more than a few, or they keep coming, call us.
What if my skin reacts?
A flush for an hour or two is normal. Burning, itching, a rash, or redness that's still there the next day isn't. Call us that day & we'll take a look.
How often should I book?
Every 4 weeks works well for most people. Your esthetician will suggest what suits your skin.
