- When you book Your first Morpheus8 starts with a consultation. Tell us if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have a pacemaker or other implant, or have taken Accutane in the last 6 months.
- 2 weeks before No sun, tanning or self-tan. Tanned or burnt skin can't be treated.
- 1 week before Pause aspirin, ibuprofen & fish oil, if your doctor says it's okay.
- 5 days before Pause retinoids & strong actives.
- Cold sores? Tell us if you get them. You may need an antiviral before treatment.
- On the day Come with clean skin.
- How long 75 to 100 minutes, depending on the area.

Does it hurt?
It depends on your pain threshold. Numbing cream goes on first if you'd like it, & most people find it manageable. You'll feel warmth & a prick with each pass.
How many sessions will I need?
Most plans are a series of 3, 4 to 6 weeks apart. Your provider sets the number at your consultation, based on your skin & goals.
When will I see results?
Some firmness can show in the first few weeks. Most of the change comes as collagen rebuilds, so it becomes clearer over the months after your series.
How long does it last?
Results from a full series usually last 12 to 18 months. One maintenance session a year helps them hold.
Can it help acne scarring?
Yes. The needles & heat work at the depth where scar tissue sits, softening the look of indented scars & uneven texture over a series.
How much downtime is there?
Most people are back to their day within 24 to 48 hours, though skin can look pink for 1 to 3 days. Deeper treatments can take 5 to 7 days to fully settle.
