Does it hurt?
Most people feel a light tingle or warmth while the peel is on, which settles quickly. No numbing needed.
Will my skin peel?
Usually only lightly, if at all. You may notice some flaking or dryness for a few days. Let it shed on its own.
Is there any downtime?
Very little. Some redness or tightness for a few hours, sometimes into the next day. Most people go straight back to their day.
Which peel will I get?
Your esthetician picks the one that suits your skin on the day. If you have a preference, just tell us at your appointment.
How many sessions will I need?
Most plans start with 4 peels, 2 to 4 weeks apart, then one every 1 to 3 months to keep it up.
Is it safe for my skin tone?
Light peels like these suit most skin tones. Deeper skin can be more prone to dark marks after any peel, so your esthetician chooses the peel & strength with that in mind.
The Refining Peel or BioRePeel?
The Refining Peel is a lighter peel, with four options chosen for your skin on the day. BioRePeel is a two-layer peel for tone & texture, usually done as a series of 3 to 6. Your esthetician can tell you which suits your skin.
