LIP FILLERS

LIP FILLERS

WHAT ARE LIP FILLERS?

Lip fillers are made with hyaluronic acid (HA) - a substance naturally produced within the body that attracts moisture and holds up to 1000 times it’s s own weight. An HA is a sugar derivative that is produced naturally in the body to hydrate eyes, joints, and skin. An injectable that will give you a natural plump to your lips.

How does it work?

Lip fillers are made with hyaluronic acid (HA) and, once injected directly into the lips, increase size and volume. HA is beneficial because it not only plumps the lips but also traps water from within to deliver a healthy, natural-looking pout.

How Long Do LIP fillers Last?

The duration of the filler depends upon which filler is used and how quickly each individual metabolizes the filler. Most last from 6 months to one year. Many patients see immediate results, though you should expect to see full results within 48 hours.

The procedure

Our nurse injector will apply a topical anaesthetic to numb the area in and ensure that you are comfortable during the procedure. You will be injected with a very fine needle and the treatment will take approximately 30 - 60 minutes.
