If vitamin C has stung you before, or you're just starting out with it, SkinCeuticals Serum 10 AOX+ is where we'd begin. It has a lower strength that sensitive skin tends to handle well.
Four or five drops in the morning, pressed into dry skin before sunscreen. It gives you the everyday protection of a vitamin C and helps soften the look of fine lines, without asking much of your skin.
